Four Days Until the Weekend
Yes, I am still here. A little dry from the lack of postings? I didn't think so.
This weekend was great. The weather here was perfect. I mean, straight out of your dreams, perfect. the sun was shinning, but not too harshly. The wind was light -- just enough so you knew it was there. the tewmperature was warm, but with a coolness in it. Ah, such perfection. Luckily, today is much like yesterday. Just, not as perfect. ;-)
My wife and I saw 'The Woodsman' yesterday. It is a good, striking film. I hope that, if it is playing near you, you get out to see it. Kevin Bacon is great, but the rest of the cast is also top-notch. It is times like these, that I am glad I left Oklahoma -- I can actually see smaller films in the theater. Ah... Oh, and just to pass along information, the title of the film comes from Little Red Riding Hood, referring to the woodsman who kills the wolf in the end. I wondered about that, but now I know. Powerful film. Good. Good.
