Ready to go...
I'm all packed, and ready to start walking soon (to take bus, then subway, then another bus to get to the airport). I got up too early. After I got to sleep much too late last night. I was working on the hat I was knitting for my mom, and I finished it around 2:30.. then it was too cold to sleep. I'm still freezing. I think I got to sleep around 4 or so. Definitely looking forward to sleeping on the plane.
And my back hurts. But yesterday when I was at Target getting a new suitcase, I found a squish pillow with a little vibrating massage motor in it, so I'm looking forward to using that on my back on the plane too. Squish pillows are great.
Not really much to say, I suppose. I'm kind of glad the semester is over, in that I am really desperately in need of a break. But it was really a good semester, with interesting and fun classes and great ensembles and awesome people that I met or hung out with a lot more this semester. I can't believe I only have one semester left. If it goes by as fast as this one did, I don't know what I'll do. I kind of really don't want to graduate... I'm scared... but I'm way too tired to really think about this right now. Also a little too scared. So in the immortal words of Lotus Goldberg, Linguistics Professor Extraordinaire, I'm going to put it in a box for now. :)
And who's psyched for Syntax class next semester? Wheee!
Suppose I ought to pack up the computer... I know I'm forgetting to bring stuff, but I can't think what. It's hard to pack for California and Chicago at the same time, for a total of three weeks! Bah.
I'm cold.
