Well I survived

Jan 13, 2025 23:52

It was my first day back to work after my sabbatical. It was like I never left. It was busier than I should have been with online weirdness and had to help a couple of students new to the school (one who has something I've never seen 4.0 for three straight years. WOW)

I'm already learning things with my dexcom. One, I'm not sure I can handle it. I think I'm reacting to the adhesive, sigh. However I'm learning the effects of me missing a meal. Today I had a fasting blood draw so when I woke up I was 151. By one hour of no food I'm at 181, I was 188 when they drew blood, by the time I was in line to get food my sugar 231, before I could get back to the office to eat the alarm was going off (OMG you gonna die, DO. Something!!! Danger Will Robinson!) and was nearly 300.

Thing I learned - small meals several times a day Dana...

Forgot my flashdrive again (OMFG) or so I hope so because it's not in my purse.

Let's continue with the Music Monday and we're sharing songs that contain a certain color. Since we finished the rainbow, let's pick up colors not on the rainbow. Today we're doing BROWN. Feel free to chime in with your favorite song(s) that follow the weekly letter. Hit me with your favs. I love hearing new music or revisiting older pieces.
