Last day of Spring Break
How did that happen? Mom and I went to the casino. I was winning until I wasn't. Ah well, it was fun.
I have discovered I can get what I want in a St. Louis hotel if I stay a) at the river casino b) the airport. It's a longer drive but eh, 14 miles is nothing. Certainly better than paying all that city tax and 40$ for my car.
I watched about 4 episodes of Hazbin Hotel. It is deeply weird. Was NOT expecting it to be partly musical. Never my favorite thing but the characters are interesting. I do like them especially Angeldust. I'm not so sure about the character design. Thank god I don't feel move to cosplay this!
I dreamt I rolled up on a red light and two young teens stepped into the crosswalk just as I braked. My bumper nudged the guy. He and his girlfriend exchanged looks, looked at me and then started howling like I ran them over.
I tried to go around to the gas station behind them to call the cops and get everything straightened out but I couldn't get into it and kept trying to get in, driving and driving until I was so far away I was miles from them and afraid the cops would come after me for leaving the scene of an accident

1) What's normal March weather like in your area? - Goofy, that's how the weather usually is. We still get some cold nights but in many ways it reminds me of the desert with warm days (70s isn't uncommon) and cold at night. It's very wet. Rains a lot. Is pollen storms a thing? It feels like it should be. Tornados sure are and one hit within several miles of me last night (I'm not in OH right now so I hope there's an apartment to go home to).
2) Are you following any spring sports? - quick answer here, no.
3) What's a summer wardrobe staple you haven't had out since last season (or if you're southern hemisphere, answer this for winter) I suppose that would be my sandals and my swimsuits. there are no indoor pools anywhere near me. I almost had the sandals out, would have but it rained.
4) What's your favorite spring break memory? Oddly I'm on spring break now thinking....I have zero good spring break memories. When I was an undergrad I never had money to go anywhere. I always just went home because it's all I could afford. Medical school I had no breaks really and going back to grad school, I was even poorer. I'm sure me and evil little dog went and did things...that's probably when I went to Savannah...
yep, Savannah would be the best of them (and that might have been summer break) As the professor, I do what I did when I was the student, go home and see my parents as I live in a different state now.
5) How do you feel about daylight savings time? honestly could care less. It doesn't bother me in the least.
