I think I've wasted 16 weeks of my life
It took me most of the day to grade the muscle practicum. MANY of them did poorly. I'm not surprised there. I was however surprised by just how many of them, keeping in mind these are nursing and people who want to do cardiac ultrasound, would COULD NOT tell the heart from the lungs while still inside the chest. I mean the thoracic cavity has only two organs in it, those two, so how the fuck can you not tell them apart? (especially since there are two lungs and one heart!) Even more of them thought the carotid artery was in the ankle (hint, that was a tendon not some freaking neck artery) and many looked at the quadriceps muscles in the thigh, got them right but when I asked where do these muscles insert, they told me the calcaneus (heel bone)
So am I that bad of a teacher? Do I just talk to the air?
I started drinking. I had half a bottle of margaritas talked to ELD for a while and now late I'm trying to write.
And hoping the that
newbuzwuzz is willing to wait another week on her story. It's done. I have it edited it on paper but I want to finish nano first. First thing in December, promise!
