Running wet and naked through the apartment
I was in the shower when I was menaced by a spider. Usually they hide in the corner from the water and steam, but this one went a little crazy. She kept coming at me, right up into the area of spray. I had to go running for a broom. Then in class another spider started yo-yoing at me at the podium. And then last night there was on walking on my toothbrush. Whimpers.
The doctor’s appointment went...well but sad at the same time. I’m now officially disabled (okay I’ve technically been disabled since 2000, 30% for my hand but this feels different). I’ll go to the DMV to get my placard paperwork. I know I need it but at the same time I feel like a fraud. I hike a lot. I can go for miles but stairs are a bitch and a half. Sitting is very hard some times and I’m not fast. Still, I feel old and somehow like I’m missing a part of myself.
In addition to that I have to go under the fluroscope again and have the monster needles right into the hip joint. It did help me quite a bit last time so that’ll be good.
Went with L, BB & TH to the Halloween trivia night. It was a nice dinner ...served by a student who had that major bone test today (so I probably ate spit). And we blew the roof off the house. We won by a dozen points. So the prize pretty much covered dinner.

Tomorrow starts nano. Wish me plot bunnies and flying fingers.
