The Dems are holding their ground, the Senator from North Dakota, Byron Dorgan gave an awesome speech during yesterday's session about the issuse that truly matter to Congress -- dealing with the national debt so our children and their children won't be left to pay it all off, honoring our parents by making sure there is medicaid to take care of them, making sure our children are getting a proper education etc... I hate this president and his administration. Ugh. The Consitution, in over 200 years, has only been amended 27 times. And we're talking about things like the Bill of Rights, freeing slaves, giving women the right to vote.. so many things that strive to give every American an equal voice. Now they "feel so strongly" about this, they feel they need to amend it again to exclude a group of Americans from a right given to everyone else? That's bullshit.
