Someday you will ache like I ache
Greetings.
I just happend to be awake at 2am on this Friday morning. Thought I should go ahead and say Hi. Sooooo... heyyyyy.
It took me about 20 minutes to do both of my mass communication class's homework things but it took me a solid 2 hours to get up the motivation to do it. They were both such simple assignments that I needed to take a lot of time to get up the strength to actually do them. That being said, I am pretty productive in the early morning hours.
So I listened to some tunes and did that and here I am. I am listening to my extensive collection of 4 songs by the late alternative band Fuel. I like how all their songs are like exactly the same as far as structure goes, but they are good for what they are. Before that I listened to some Live, whom did that "I alone tempt you, I alone love you" tune and I think that's the only song they actually recorded. I would be so happy to be in a little band and have just one little hit. I would be tickled pink if some kid mentioned one of my songs in passing in his or her livejournal several years from now. I have found all that shimmers in this world is sure to fade away again do do do.
I've been meaning to get back to my songwritting for awhile now. I recorded a few ideas last week, but no whole songs. I've done 3 pretty decent covers this week. My voice is so picky recently. I guess I really need to sit down and start some trial and error style writting. I might have already written my version of "Yesterday" (The world is flat) but that doesn't mean that I can't write my own version of "Hey Jude" (whatever my next hit will be) in the future!
