i'm making mom watch sherlock on pbs next week
01. Martin Freeman is officially going to be in The Hobbit! I like this for two reasons: one, I love Martin Freeman and two, I've actually read The Hobbit (unlike LotR).
Me: MARTIN FREEMAN IS BILBO!
Mom: Who's Martin Freeman? And who is Bilbo?
Me: MARTIN FREEMAN! Bilbo's the main character in "The Hobbit."
Mom: Who's Martin Freeman?
Me: HE'S MARTIN FREEMAN.
Mom: Saying his name over and over doesn't tell me anything.
Me: He's Watson in the new Sherlock.
Mom: I thought that was Jude Law.
Me: Wrong Sherlock, Mom.
02. I've decided that reading Shopaholic Ties the Knot is actually a public service. I now have legitimate grounds to tell you all to STAY FAR, FAR AWAY. I'm reading this book so you don't have to. Oh god, the frustration and rage, they're just building up so much. Two chapters a day is my limit; at this rate I will finish in eight days. Gah. (The Tesla biography, on the other hand, is quite interesting so far.)
03. Tomorrow's Friday. SANCTUARYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.
