01. NBC ordered 11 more episodes of Chuck this season. *happy dance* 24 episodes! Woohoo!
02. Sanctuary's numbers for the premiere were up 17% from last year's average. Awesome.
03. Thank you, NCIS, for those lovely callbacks to 3x08 "Under Covers" tonight. :D
04. So I'm doing this round-robin book swap thing with some of my Intensity friends. It took me three days to pick out a book that fit our requirements (a paperback less than 300 pages) and that I thought would appeal to everyone. I wanted to make it a really good one; I'm the biggest bibliophile in the group and they're always asking me for recs so I really wanted to pick a book that everyone would like. I finally settled on The Hunger Games. (It took me three drafts to write a note to go with it; the first two letters devolved into 800+ word essays on why I love dystopias.) Anyway, I sent my book off to Jenny and happily received Allie's book in the mail a few days later. Allie sent Shopaholic Ties The Knot. I'm trying to be open-minded about it because Allie obviously liked it if she sent it along but... I'm not a chick lit person. And I'm only two chapters in and I kind of want to punch the main character. I went to the library this morning to get some work done and ended up leaving with a biography of Nikola Tesla. I think I'm going to reward myself with the biography: read two chapters of Shopaholic, read one chapter of Wizard: The Life and Times of Nikola Tesla.
05. Talked to my boss and got November 18-20 off so I can go to Indianapolis and see Deathly Hallows with Casey and Allie. SO EXCITED. For the movie, to see them, to see the movie with them, to get out of town for a few days. It'll be my first road trip with Malcolm, too!
