I JUST TALKED TO JAVIER GRILLO-MARXUACH ON THE PHONE OMG. Yes, Javier Grillo-Marxuach, one of my favorite screenwriters of all time and all-around awesome dude.

OKAY. SO. Those two ^^ plus _allshallfade became best buds with Javi during NYCC this weekend and phrasmotic mentioned she was hosting a karaoke gig tonight (Sunday night) and so Javi WENT. ( Read more... )

Living vicariously isn't so bad when stuff like this happens. (I mean, I'd rather be at karaoke with them right now but this is still flippin' awesome.)

After I quoted again later and you didn't know it I wondered if that was Marjory but I never heard her say her name! Fixing!

Also, when I took the phone from Marjory you said you didn't know what was happening - Marjory dropped my phone, then Javi started yelling 'MARJORY DROPPED THE PHONE! NOOOOOO! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!' Yeah, he was totally drunk.

When the bar finally closed and we were all walking to our respective destinations and talking about what a night it was, he said 'I think Lizz probably had the best night out of all of us.'
