BTVS Fic: Puzzle (Anya & Willow, G, drabble)

May 21, 2006 19:26

Yes, you read that correctly I have another drabble! And more to be posted soon!

For karabair who requested: Anya & Willow, appropriate reading material. Hopefully it's alright that the phrase served as inspiration but isn't actually in the drabble.
Set pre-The Prom (BtVS season 3).

Big hugs to savoytruffle for all her help!

Aww! Adorable. I love Willow asking if Anya's odd phrasing is a word puzzle.

Thanks! I'm glad you liked the word puzzle part, it's fun to play off their different communication styles. Thanks for the prompt! *g*

Thanks! I'm delighted you loved it! I tried to have Anya provide the type of help that she eventually did, but in off-hand way. I'm a little embarrassed that I sort of made it about Xander, but he was a major issue between them (ie. Triangle) so that's how I justified it! *g*

Awesome! Anya giving Willow a slice of what's to come :)
“No. Just tell me the whereabouts of that human with nice arms who’s always here.”
I love that! The sentence tells us so much about Anya's power of observation. So she's been spying on the Scoobies, then? :D
Great drabble, great voices :)

Thanks! The idea was definitely a slice of what's to come, so yay, I'm glad that worked. I think Anya would totally have been keeping tabs on the Scoobies especially since they're involved in her becoming human! And I'm pleased the voices worked! *g*

Wow! What a wonderful Anya you do! I don't think I've ever read your characterization of her before. Loved it. “No reason.” Anya turns, glances back. “You’ll never find anything useful in that book. Try Borden’s Compendium. He knew what was what.” Ack! Such perfect Anya. I really enjoyed this. *hugs*

Thanks! This was basically my first time writing Anya, which was definitely a challenge. I'm really pleased that you enjoyed it and found that the characterization worked! *hugs*
