Yet another non-SPN post
M. & I do try to see all, or at least most (it's harder now that there's 10 of them!) of the Oscar-nominated movies every year, and we're a bit behind this year. So we went out to see Wolf of Wall Street last night, and man, it's been a loooonng time since I hated a film as much as I hated that one. So gross, on so many levels. I have vowed to boycott the Oscars if that film gets Best Picture. The Academy & I will be done, professionally.
I do recommend American Hustle, Her, and Gravity, however. Still yet to see: 12 Years A Slave, Dallas Buyers Club, Philomena, a couple of others. Plus all the foreign films, and all the animated movies except Frozen (which I liked a lot).
