Dear Powers That Be:
If we are very, very good little fangirls-and-boys, can we keep Charlie? Please? I mean, most of the other regulars have been killed off, right? That means you'll need some new ones for S8, assuming there is one. I think 'more Charlie" just went to Number One on my list of Things I Want in Season Eight, just slightly ahead of "more scenes where Sam & Dean sit on the hood of the Impala and eat takeout."
Generally an awesome episode all around, though the giant exposition dump at the beginning was a little annoying. Couldn't we have spread out some of the data through all those MotW episodes, and made it feel more like an arc? But that's nitpicking, and otherwise it was great. Dick Roman in all his smarmy glory was very entertaining, as was his frustration that he couldn't clone Charlie's 'spark'. Interesting - there really is something about humans that all those creatures just can't wait to get their hands (and teeth!) on, isn't there?
And Bobby ;_; He really is there to serve as a cautionary tale for Dean about the dangers of revenge-obsession, isn't he? And the way Bobby is tied to the flask is tied to Dean's alcoholism - very interesting, I think.
