Happy National Day Weekend, Canadians & Americans!
And a happy weekend anyway, even if you're not celebrating independence from Britain!
I am so far behind on reading & comments, and everything else fandom-related, it's not even funny. BUT I LOVE YOU ALL ANYWAY ♥
This weekend I have:
- Barbecued a salmon
- sold a lot of beer to happy jazz-fest patrons
- contemplated having a lobster boiled for me while I watched, but decided against it on the grounds that it's barbaric
- deconstructed a Coast Guard hat & reconstructed it in a larger size
- worked at my job
- not managed to do any laundry
- drunk a lot of wine. And a cocktail invented by my roommate, named after one of Canada's more eccentric Prime Ministers, William Lyon Mackenzie King.
- transplanted a bunch of tomato plants. Yes, it's really late, but I have hopes, damnit!
