7.5 mile hike today with the dog, packing only water and not enough of it. The way back was a bit tiring, but I'm warm now and fed. The faithful beast will be zonked out soon, maybe I can stay up long enough to play some RE:4 when it gets dark. Which is after 11 for anyone who doesn't know Anchorage. Sunset is 11:36 and sunrise is 4:33. You get used to it. No bears today, which is good as I would have made an easy snack. Tomorrow I'll get back on my exercise schedule that I slacked on this last week.
