I've decided to indulge myself and be pretentious and keep one of these things.
I should edit it all up soon to make it look like something.
Today I reaffirmed that I am living in the right place when I saw two bear cubs cross in front of me 50 feet away when I was hiking with the dog. This was followed by my not being attacked and mauled by the angry bear mother, which really made my day. Next time I will take my camera, and if I am attacked and mauled, I will have good pictures from the experience.
Hm. I don't think this is pretentious enough so far. But that will likely change.
