How are you feeling?

Better, thank you. [What little hesitation and heaviness there would have been to her usually has been obliterated by the event. There's even a faint smile on her face, though she feels like doing anything but smiling at this point.] ...I didn't expect to see you here, ah... Guy, right?

That's good to hear. [Guy hadn't really been affected by the event, but he had seen some of the things that it did. He wondered for a moment if the event had affected her. Probably.] Yes. I heard there was a lot of damage done around Adstring last week and that you were in the hospital. I wanted to make sure you were okay. Is my being here strange?
[That and it felt good to get out of the house. Every time he looked at Luke he felt like a terrible person.]

This was why he was at the clinic now, wandering down the halls to where he'd learned her room was. He'd stop short in her doorway, not wanting to step in. He'd stare at her for a good minute in silence, at first being locked in horror at the sight of her. His expression twisted to anger, frustration, depression, and eventually he couldn't look at her anymore and instead just stared at the ground. His fists clenched tightly at his sides, the same fists he'd used to hurt her. ]
I... I did that... god Sango ... fuck... sorry doesn't even cover it.
[ His voice is breaking, fused thickly with the frustration he ( ... )

Yes it does. You're forgetting that I went after you. I knew this would happen. [As much as a shrug as one can give when their arm is broken.] Besides--I've had worse, you know.

[ His voice breaks as he shouts this back to her. Not moving an inch from his spot. ]

Then what are you going to do about it, Rin? You apologized, I forgave you, though there's really nothing to forgive in the first place. There's nothing left to do except let it go.
[And that ridiculous out-of-place smile and tone the whole time.]

[He's sitting near the edge, leg's hanging off, most of his weight balanced on his hands as he leans backwards, eyes closed as the slight wind blows over him.
It was a nice, comforting moment of silence. One he needed. And one he wished she would share with him. But he already knew that, this week, at least, it was going to be too much to ask.
His eyes open slowly, his attention turning towards her.]
Hey.
Reply
[In a smooth movement she drops down beside him, settling herself much closer than she would normally.]
Hi. Why are you all alone up here?
Reply
[His eyes slip closed once more, leaning backwards, letting the breeze play over his face.]
It's quiet.
Reply
[She allows the quiet to permeate for a beat.]
I prefer action myself.
[And she leans over...]

We need to talk.
[Those dreaded words. Only this time, it's not going to turn out as well as it did the last time.]
Reply
Alright, you've got me.
[Here's to hoping it's not something that's serious enough to require in-person stuff? (Fat chance.)]
Reply
I think it's best if we do this in person.
[He is not doing this over the PCD's, Sango, sorry.]

[She's sharp enough to have it pretty much figured out already. It's something bad. It's right before their scheduled date, and... well, she isn't blind. So she shuts off the PCD, steels her nerves, and exits her room to knock quietly at his door.]

Over only the course of one weekend, this entire place was being sent to hell. Kohaku had panicked, yes, but for his sister and the friends he had gathered here there was no place for such fear to surface. He had to keep his cool, and allow all of those emotions to grasp tightly within each of this hands-- his weapon.
He stayed close to his sister's side, giving a worried glance every now and then. The greenhouse. The boy knew that Sango had visited there often and seeing such a place crumble would probably only break her heart. They had to make sure it was okay and to protect it against... what were these things?
It has only taken a matter of moments, just a few steps forward, before the scenery around them began to shift. It was odd; an area of mismatched skies and swirling auras. Everything felt so horrifying, cruel, and let a bitter taste of uncertainty he just couldn't quite shake off. This couldn't be happening.... ]

[She's made sure to keep herself and her brother doused in water, snow, or the blizzard spell Riku taught her months ago; the same with any fires she can put out. But after a visit to another safehouse, it's hard to go literally all the way across the city. Sango goes anyway, and keeps a constant eye on her brother.]
[The barrier hits and the hairs on the back of her neck prickle, a shiver running down her spine. She drops into a fighting crouch.]
Kohaku. Be careful.
[Even now, she sees small, aggressive creatures leering, wicked-looking as the brightly wrong landscape. Castiel's words flash through her mind: There is something occurring involving the death and return cycle. It is functioning incorrectly and too quickly; restoration is almost immediate but fatal injuries are not ( ... )

Right. [ The chain on the extended side of his weapon rattled when he pulled it closer; slowly beginning to whip it into a circle. They were going to get through this together! And swing! Right towards the nearest minion. There was an awkward squeak, clearly indicating he had hit his opponent. Only... too many more to go. ]

[Well. Not every memory can be a good one.]
[Still, it takes some soothing of frayed nerves and getting used to that yes, he is capable of fighting now--not just a pawn, or an inexperienced novice. She shifts to be back to back with him and slides her boomerang (so far, most useful as a makeshift umbrella against falling fire) off of her shoulder. She wastes little time in letting fly, carving a couple down.]
