This is why I love my mom!
Title:I was totally appalled by WW (WW is Weight Watchers)
I can not believe that so many people are willing to pay so much money for such absolutely nothing service. You weigh in and it's like an AA meeting. The leader gave absolutely no real information ... just said stuff like, "We all know that we can't control most things in out lives... but we can control what we eat." It was awful. I didn't even stick around to get my "plan."
Instead I went out to the front desk and asked for my $40 back. First they weren't going to do it... but when I said "fine, I'll just stop payment through my American Express card" they decided to give me a refund.... it did however take them forty-five minutes to figure out how to work their machine.
Morally, I just couldn't be a part of it. I couldn't be a part of a company making so much money off people's body fears. I just couldn't do it. Fortunately, Sue understood... we're going to set up a good workout schedule.
Anyway, I tried. Just couldn't do it. I think I spent too much time dealing with my father to put up with such bull shit.
