Going home!

This week has been very strange and it seems that it feels like it shouldn't be Friday! Last night was amazing! I talked to Jane Elliot for two hours over dinner after participating in her workshop! I felt like...well I have no words for how I felt! She just made me want to be a teacher, which is one of my possibilities after graduating. Yesterday I got Tufts Veterinary School Catalog in the mail. It was so cool to look at. I want to do both! I just can't. Have you ever left torn between the two paths. When I first came to K, I wanted to do children psychiatry, but last year winter quarter, I knew that I wanted to be a vet. I am the minority of the health sciences... vet school...no one does that. I have always thought about being a teacher. I just have had so many great educators! I just can't choose.
But, I am going home today! I love home! I miss my mom, my dogs, my house, my bed, my city! YAY CHICAGO... I think if its nice I am going to go to Millennium Park with Ian, since I have never been and its his last weekend home before he leaves for Boston...stupid Boston...so far away. I am going to Boston hopefully in February.
My birthday is in less than two months... nothing big, just 20! Don't know what I want...people always have trouble getting me gifts. I don't like my birthday, for those who know why, just give me a hug and for those that don't know why, just ask and I will tell you...but there might be tears. Be prepared!
