Survived the weekend in my new position. The weather nearly killed me though and when I got home Saturday evening I just wanted to curl up in a ball and die. I felt so ill from the heat and the bus journey home. I definitely can't keep using public transport for long, it will kill me. I'm off to see about a car a little bit later so hopefully it won't be long until I have my own transport and don't have to keep borrowing dad's car and using the buses.
Tomorrow I sit down with my manager and go over everything that hasn't been discussed yet such as my salary, what things I need to put right as a result of the area manager's visit last week and all that stuff. I will also be pinning down some holiday dates. Most importantly the dates in October when clez and I will be going to invade behindtonsils house again.
