Almost posted several times today about different topics, but amid the whirlwind, one sentiment stood out:
Forget the foibles and failures,
Forget the bobbles and boos,
Forget the contracts and drug tests
The hearings and hype.
Forget who makes what, and who says who says.
Just step between the white lines,
Feel the poetry and pleasure,
Leather, wood, dirt and grass...
Be born again.
Play ball.
Enjoy the day.
