1. Just watched Star Trek with the boys = still completely awesome. Really.

2. Luke and his band are getting serious. They decided they need to post flyers to recruit a singer. ( Their requirements: )

movies, rock and roll

What are "good notes"? And tell Luke that when they get this singer, I will drive from Massachusetts to meet them and take a picture so I can have proof of their existence.

Hah! The icon rocks. I think "good notes" varies depending on whether you are in a hair band or a real band. But I'll get you a press pass anyway.

I so agree about Star Trek!!!!

And as for the requirements for a lead singer...sounds totally reasonable to me!

Hey Lisa! Yeah, I could watch Star Trek a couple hundred more times. Will you be auditioning? I know you have the tattoos already...

asdkjhlkfjhfdfdsg That flyer is awesome!

Also, your post just reminded me about the Star Trek DVD coming out... I knew it was sometime in November but hadn't checked on the details. Woo -- need to go buy it!

Oh yeah! I rarely buy DVDs but this one I had circled on the calendar. So much love for this movie.

I kind of think the only person who would be OK with the more altruistic of those requirements is you. Can you trash an amp?

I can trash an amp, but I can't replace it. And I don't have any tattoos. I do want to name the band "Mom", and I do sing lead on "White Room." Partridge Family, anyone?
