Now that I have rediscovered LJ, or at least time to post, I was going to toss out a couple of "moral dilemmas" for you to ponder, the first being why I continue to subscribe to the NY Times when they continue to treat the Mets as bastard children. (Angels fans? White Sox fans? Anyone help me out here?) The second was whether it is less ethical, or more inethical, to train fish to essentially catch themselves (by rewarding them with food when they head toward fishing nets upon hearing an aural trigger) and then turn them loose, rather than farm raising them.
Now, I likes the silly and the quasi-philisophical and the venting and the whinging and the giggling, but then I got a wonderful
email link from
mrflyingfingers and remembered that I'd much rather highlight beautiful things when I get the chance to. So thanks for the spiritual salvation of my day, MFF, and the ray of hope in what has been a dicey week. I can't wait to show this article to Shrek.
Meanwhile, I've got a parcel of 12-year-olds coming over for a massive water-bomb fight (Ed & Luke built a catapult) and sleepover, so it's a busy start to the weekend. Hope you all have great ones.
