Two of my fave found family shows are back on, Nikita for an all too brief six episode final season and Lost Girl, which is being as confusing and delightful as ever.
Found a delicious "any two guys" story today while waiting for the tradesperson to turn up. I love a ridiculous meet cute that extends the "meet" beyond all common sense. Ah, romcom, what a boon and a delight you are.
Another thing I was thinking of was 'job checking'. So very often you'll be reading a story that's hitting all the right emotional and character notes and then the author will say something that reveals they know absolutely less than nothing about the job they've given the characters. But that's not what I'm interested in. I'm interested in stories where the author has got it spot on. Rec me the story that got it right. The one where you went, "Ohhhh yes" or "Author, do you have my job?". I remember watching the first episode of Slings and Arrows and nearly dying laughting with how spot on the sponsor business was. Fundraising: the same regardless of what you're trying to fund!
