beach.
I don't know why anyone has their air conditioning on, it's such a nice night out. I'm always happy when I can sleep with my window open.
Anyway, yesterday I went to the beach. It came about Monday, after my dentist appointment. I realized I had off for once, as my after school cooking program is done (:( but that's for another day) and it was supposed to be nice out. Plus, the sun makes you happier.
Well, me, in any case.
It was Glenn's birthday day too, and even though there's much between us, and another conversation to be had, I figured why not make it a nice day. I love for people to be happy.
I texted everyone to try and make it as big a day as possible. Six of us went: me, Kim, Chris, Shahbaz, Kyle, and Glenn. I was happy Kyle and Shahbaz could make it, I can always somehow manage to bring them out. It made me happy that Glenn was surprised with it too.
We played volleyball, tossed a football, stick ball, and some soccer. I was happy to be able to play games! I miss playing sports so much, and my friends weren't so terrible at volleyball. Soccer, my shin connected with Chris' knee, and I forgot how painful that was.
We swam a lot too, the water was gorgeous and the perfect temperature. I brought wine (whatever was available) for a toast for Glenn. Lol, it could've been worse...
We left the beach with color, mostly being red, and I left thinking how great a day it was for once. Three people asking me, so when's the next one?
I can never get over their childlike wonder. Haha.
