Happy New Year to one and all! 2008 was a year that had its ups and downs for me. I'm not sorry to see it go, in large part because I am a bit superstitious in terms of measuring time. If you Google "zombie movies," guess what shows up on the first page? My Westword post about my thirty-day zombie movie fest. It's at the number ten (i.e. last on page) position, but that's the first time I have ever made a Google page-one search results page for a search anyone was likely to do (i.e., not my name). I feel awesome.

It's been decided that June will be zombie month at Chez Casciato. That means we'll be watching at least one zombie movie a night for the whole freaking month. It's going to be awesome.
