That was a fun game to watch. Weather, ridiculous turnovers, Manning finally gets his ring, Rex looking lost and scared stupid, dirty hits, historic milestones....
Yes, it was a good game. The commercials, especially the first few, were hilarious. My dad laughed until he wheezed over that Blockbuster "mouse" commercial. I did miss Prince's halftime show, choosing to use that time to socialize with some of my guests. I have since heard it was amazing, so I will try to YouTube it later.
Watching the game with a bunch of people who know almost nothing about football is interesting. It generates different side talk than a bunch of football fans watching. How many points for a field goal again? We had a lot of people show up, they brought a lot of snacks of their own. I think we eneded up with almost as much food as we started with, and more beer. But mostly it was shitty 3.2 Corona left over, whereas we started with Stella Artois and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Still, free beer and all...
