Movie Revealed!

As I suspected, most of you are fanboys/girls/indeterminates! Here's another photo from the set that should really give it away:

Encom World Headquarters

The correct answer is the 2011 follow on movie to the 1982 movie, TRON! The actual movie title hasn't been settled yet. It's been referred to as TRON v2.0, TR2N and even TRZ (blech).

It's not a reimagining or a reboot. Joseph Kosinski is directing the movie and it's a sequel to the original. Some of the original actors are reprising their roles, some even in multiple roles. There's a rumored all CGI version of the young Jeff Bridges character from 1982 played by the current Jeff Bridges encountering his now 30 years older non-CGI character.

The budget for this movie is rumored to be fairly high, although early rumors of a US $300million budget have been thoroughly debunked. It's being filmed entirely in 3D, including the use of crane and steadicam shots. Some of these shots are trailblazing and have never been attempted in 3D. Daft Punk is slated to score the movie.

Nobody guessed the location of the building! :-( Primary lensing is being done in Vancouver, BC with 2nd and third units in, um, other locations. :-)

And by the way, I didn't take any of the pictures. No cameras on set!

Finally, since LJ seemed to keep upchucking on the Star Trek set pics in the first entry, here's links to them in case you couldn't see them:
