(no subject)
i was having the most perfect dream sunday night until my alarm woke me up. i wish i hadn't even set it bc i knew i wasn't going to music class anyway and then i could have had another 45 minutes to dream. in fact, if i could be guaranteed to have that dream, and only that dream, forever, i'd choose to fall asleep and never wake up. sounds ridiculous i know, but i seriously would; life was perfect in that dream.
also, it has been exactly one year today since my great grandpa passed away. i had totally forgotten until my grandma reminded me when she replied to my email this afternoon. guess i had pretty good timing on finally sending her an email.
another thing: i'm so much less stressed bc i actually have money right now. no i'm not rolling in the dough, but i have enough to pay the bills and buy necessary things, and a little extra for eating out or going to see a movie or whatever. it's nice, and hopefully i can manage to keep it up. maybe then i can afford to go out to cali when the semester's over and repay my debt to ryan.
my sister came to visit this weekend and it was nice. kyle just broke up with her wednesday night and she's been really upset, so she wanted to get away and come see me really badly. i made her dinner after she got here friday night and then we went to see 27 dresses (which was really good by the way), then met up with aj at mcd's for a bit and came back to go to sleep. saturday we got up and around, ate, and headed out for the taylor swift concert at western. yeah, i'm an awesome big sister and discovered that she just happened to be in michigan the weekend kadie was coming to visit, and kadie had just told me a couple weeks before that how she wanted to go to one of her concerts, so i searched and searched for tickets but couldn't find them anywhere bc it was sold out, but when i called the box office the next day (friday, the day before the concert) just for the hell of it, the lady told me two seats had just opened up so of course i took them. they were all the way up in the balcony, but it was only wmu so it's not like it was going to be a massive auditorium and it was a really good concert. kadie was so excited when i told her about it the night before, she wanted to cry (partially bc of the excitement, partially bc she's just emotional right now). then we went over to aj's to make him dinner and hung out for a bit before finally coming back to get some sleep. sunday we went to lunch at applebee's before she left. it was a good weekend.
and that's all for now. i'm exhausted and need to shower and eat before i can relax.
