...to the both of you! It sounds wonderful! Do you have the pictures anywhere online? I would love to see how both of you looked in your wedding garb! :-)
Beyond that BIG news, how are you both doing? I'm TERRIBLY SORRY I haven't sent you a message in a while. Are you going into your second year of your Master's program Alex? Is Emmy done with her Master's program (and is yet another congratulations in order)?
I would love to come and see both of you and ask you more questions over lunch if you have a free afternoon. This time I REALLY mean it because I finally find myself with some much needed free time. It's amazing how fast each quarter goes by when you desire to do something outside of academics. :-) I am currently working for the Department of Fish and Game at the Shellfish Health Lab in Bodega Bay (they even gave me a white lab coat and everything!) It's been a very rewarding and exciting year. I spent winter quarter in South Africa, spring quarter at the Bodega Marine Laboratory, and recently graduated (FINALLY). Graduate School will be in the near future, but I plan to work for a few years before I head back to school. I think that I may have finally found my niche in pathogen research and plan to take the next couple of years to decide where I want to work in this diverse field.
I hope you had (or will have) a great time on your European Honeymoon. Say "Hi" to the Alps for me and send me a message when you get back to tell me all about it!

Many thanks! It was a nice message you wrote us.
We definitely get together and we can tell you all about the wedding and the honeymoon. And congratulations to you too for graduating! You are now an Alumni!!
Hey, are you still using your UC Davis e-mail? Just say yes or no. Don't post your e-mail on here (hehe).
