Some news
2 big news uptades.
First, my mom was quickly and unexpectedly admitted in Kaiser hospital after several weeks of abdominal pains which had gotten more severe the past few days. She was taken in last night and waited in the hospital today for a surgery. It was a semi-serious issue and she came out fine after the surgery with no pain. She was in good mood when we visited her with Emmy, my brother and Melanie.
Second, I went to the eye doctor yesterday and he did not see anything physiologically wrong with either of my eyes. He said that the right eye seems to have high lens refractivity and needs corrective lenses. I guess I will be wearing glasses soon, which I am alright with. However, the vision problems can be explained by bad eye lens but the discomfort and headaches cannot. So if I still have issues after wearing glasses, then I need to make a neurological exam appointment to get a brain scan and see if things are alright there. At least for now news are good. Maybe all I need is glasses.
Since it's April's Fools today, I pulled off a serious and kind of mean prank on Emmy. I told her that I wanted to push the wedding a year because I had some doubts. After being speechless for a few moments she said "Are you serious? Then why did you propose? I asked you if you had any doubts before." Then finally I revealed that it was April's Fools and she wanted to kill me, but the hair brush missed! Ooops.
