It's here!
Well it feels like summer finally. I think it was driving through ‘tukee with New Found Glory blaring in the jeep that made me smile and think, “Yes, it is finally fucking summer and this is going to be a great ride.” This is the first post from my parent’s house, where I will reside for at least a year or so. Right now it is more like vacation because I am still readjusting to the whole idea of living at home, but I am really excited for one reason: I can take better care of myself. Seeing a fully-stocked fridge is a sight I have seldom seen in the past year, and it feels good. My regular beverage of choice will shift from beer to water, and I will get to they gym at least five times a week. Sometimes I forget that Brian is no longer in the hood, it feels like I should drive over to his house, scoop up Tim and we will just sit around arguing how much we like or dislike the above mentioned album. We would most likely decide it is pathetic musically and has little to no redeeming qualities, but it is our favorite CD for whatever reason. Days are going to be full of sitting by the pool, listening to the music, playing sports on a regular basis and just living it up until school starts all over again. I’m glad to be back home, it just feels right. I can’t wait for this summer, it is going to be amazing even if I do nothing.
