I have so much work to do! I'm in the middle of four different studio projects, I have an essay due tuesday, and this week is room inspection week. Oh my goodness.

We just got out of a whole week of rain. It was pretty wonderful. I love the rain! There's nothing more satisfying than wearing knee high golashes and getting unprepared people on the side walk soaking wet by jumping in the puddles. What makes it even better is that I have no umbrella, so I'm just as soaked as my victims. So great. The only bad news about the rain is that the first floor of the dorms flooded (one of the few benefits of living on the fourth floor is no flooding). Right now there are really strong winds and I can hear them whistling past my window.

I went to an international student luncheon. I know I'm not an international student, but it seemed silly to have a gathering for international students to get to know each other without having someone from America. At one point they called the name of your country and had the people from that country go up and get their picture taken with their flag. There were two of us for United States, and I got to hold the flag. This seems sort of ironic since I have an underdeveloped sense of patriotism. Anyway, there were a lot of really neat people there. It was so fun to hear all of the different languages.

I found dancing! It takes place every thursday, and it's free! It's sort of annoying, though, because every dance I've been to, people go with partners. I asked people to dance, but they for the most part only wanted to dance with the one person they were with. That's just ridiculous. Dances are for dancing. I sat and drew people dancing. I did get to do the shim sham, though, and that was good. They are going to teach the Big Apple eventually. I am excited about that. I'm not too discouraged about the dancing. Eventually I'll find my niche, just like in Colorado. I was spoiled with the dancing in Fort Collins.

won't you come see about me, I'll be alone, dancing, you know it.
don't you forget about me.
don't don't don't don't
don't you forget about me.
rain keeps falling, rain keeps falling,
down, down, down.
