[Wow okay, Doctor. Think those lights are bright enough? Good thing Edward is wearing sunglasses like a total douchebag would at night or else he'd be blinded.]

Quite a display.

Isn't it! Amy showed me it on... erm, the video thing on the internet... you know the one!

And I thought it was just brilliant and so I tried to do it to the TARDIS, but traveling through the vortex blew out all the lights.

Pity. [He furrows his brow, reaching into his jacket and withdrawing a small box, wrapped in green gift-wrapping paper, offering it to the Doctor.]

Perhaps you can make it up to her with this.

[Takes it and inspects it before giving it an experimental lick]

What's this now?

A gift, from me to you.

Go ahead. Open it.

[And should the Doctor open it, he'll find a pair of these within the box, amidst bits of newspaper for padding.]

[He shakes them, looking at them with immense curiosity!]

So.

What do they do?

They're for decoration, really. Most people consider them tacky, but I think they're rather aesthetically pleasing. Don't you? Ordinarily, you adorn your car with them. However, seeing as the TARDIS doesn't exactly have any rear-view mirrors to speak of...

[A pause. Then a teasing smirk.]

Well. I'm sure the two of you can come to an agreement and figure out where to put them.

[He stares at them for a few more minutes before laughing and throwing his arms around Eddie to hug him. Watch out for his elbows, they're sharp.]

I'm sure she'll love them! Yes, we'll hang them right over the zig-zag plotter. I think she'll like that.

[Yeah, those are some sharp elbows.]

It's---nothing, really.

[Clapping him on the back in a one armed hug.]

It's definitely nothing. Christmas gifts are never nothing.
