[he's already seen enough oddities today to know something is going on, so as soon as he hears that frantic phone call, he's hanging up and making his way over to the Doctor's house.

all that blood was something he hadn't been expecting. he gingerly steps over the words, not bothering to look at them yet, and tries to approach in a non-threatening manner.]

Ah, Charles, you're still alive. For a moment I thought I had... Well it's all a bit fuzzy, my head is pounding.

Of course I'm still alive, you dolt. How easy do you think I am to kill? [it's more of a defensive statement, a distraction of sorts as he reaches for the Doctor's hands] Why've you done this?

[ he lets Charles grab at his hands.]

[he's going to try and lead the Doctor out of the garage then, taking a closer look at the words on the ground.]

I saw him. In the mirror, or thought I did. Clearer than usual, I mean since he's always there in the back. And... then it was just me. And I'd let someone I love die. Again.

I don't hear anything but you. [he's straining his ears just in case, but it's difficult to support a bleeding man, try to figure out what exactly that date and time mean and listen for phantom sounds at the same time.]

Excuse me? [there's no way he heard that properly, and even if he had, it was likely nonsense words from a person who had been infected by whatever was going around.]
