Yeah, so Gabrielle watched Sesame Street on Friday, and she said that poor cookie sang a rap song about vegetables and then a giant cookie came out with the letter of the day, G, for gigantic, and cookie said, "me eat cookie!" and then he stopped and said, "Wait, me not supposed to eat cookie" and then said, well maybe no one will notice if I just have one bite, and he took one, and then he said, mmmm me love cookie so much, maybe I could just have another bite, and he took one more and then he said aw what the hay, and took another bite and then they switched to something else and then came back and he was wiping the crums from his mouth and then they made him have a stomach ache, and saying he wished he had eaten healthier! and how next time, he won't have a cookie! I mean come on! I remember all through the years, cookie would scarf platefulls of cookies and then the plate too and he never got a stomach ache. Children could live vicariously through this loveable monster who just gloms cookies all day. Its not like it really happened. Poor cookie monster is feeling guilty now about eating his cookies! They have given my hero a guilt-complex/eating disorder. Its so wrong.
