Good Afternoon....I'm cleaning out my refrigerator...(how nasty can one refrigerator get) and I needed a break....so here I am
How gorgeous it is outside! Oh, how I just wish I had the time to be outside...there's always too much to do. One of these days I'm just going to forget the work and go enjoy my favorite weather...before it gets too hot...I don't like the heat.
Even my parakeets are loving this weather...I've moved their cage by the open window so they can get some sunshine and some fresh air and Charlie keeps saying "pretty boy"...he says that when he's happy or when he's greeting you :o). Other times, he meows like my cat.
He loves the cats by the way....if you let him out of his cage, he immediately wants to sit on Kiara's back. She is only slightly annoyed by the attention.
Well, I like what Ana has to do when she posts on lj...tell what God has spoken to you about in your devotions today...btw...Jenny and Vee are going to be required to do that too...awesome idea, Mr. Wilke!
I'm going to let these Bible verses speak for themselves...they come from the discipleship lesson Mrs. Pam has for Jenny's group....
"My counsel for you is simple and straightforward: Just go ahead with what you've been given. You received Christ Jesus, the Master; now live Him. You're deeply rooted in Him. You're well constructed upon Him. You know your way around the faith. Now do what you've been taught. School's out; quit studying the subject and start living it! And let your living spill over into thanksgiving." Col. 2:6,7
"Watch out for people who try to dazzle you with big words and intellectual double-talk. They want to drag you off into endless arguments that never amount to anything. They spread their ideas through the empty traditions of human beings and the empty superstitions of spirit beings. But that's not the way of Christ. Everything of God gets expressed in Him, so you can see and hear Him clearly. You don't need a telescope, a microsope, or a horoscope to realize the fullness of Christ, and the emptiness of the universe with out Him. When you come to Him, that fullness comes together for you, too. His power extends over everything." Col. 2:8-10
...Back to the frig...:o)
