The rest of the previous post was hidden under the 'cut'. I'm "LJ-html-challenged".
... so cool_moose 's entries will be fancier, without his having to remember the html needed. Now, if I can just find out how to surround pictures with text, I won't have to take up so much room. The all-wise colinmarshall sent me the html a few months ago, but I've lost it .
Well, it's been a week or so since I added cool_moose , and only 8 of the 'chosen 15' have friended my new identity. Hopefully the rest of you will tumble in here now that Friday the 13th has come and gone. And maybe we'll see some sunshine - after 26 days of @#$%^&* rain. Seattle and Vancouver are living up to their wet reputation this winter. It was a brilliant week in early December when Chris visited us - maybe we need another Floridian to fly in with some good weather. (edit, Saturday - the sun came out this morning)
Not a good week, really. My mouth is recovering slowly - but I still can't eat properly. This morning I fried some eggs and bacon, made toast, opened a can of peaches - and puréed the whole lot with 2 cups of coffee in the blender. Not great. Besides, Sandra is back East on business for a week so I'm not being 'looked after' at all. *sulks*
