Wow, seems like the past couple days have been quite a nostaglic trip from just talking and remineiscing with my buddies... seems like shit back then was so uncomplicated, doesnt it? Well maybe not for some of you but I think we all can say we miss the good ole days (whenever that might've been for you) ::sigh:: but something I've been pondering on and a bit of a comfort has been actually from Iron Maiden, the band I first started listening to during my "golden day" era which the chorus of the song goes:

"So understand,
don't waste your time always searching for
those wasted years.
Face up... make your stand.
And realise you're living in the golden years..."

That song being "Wasted Years" which basically is talking about well, the golden days being lost but then realizing, YOU were the one that made it those years and you STILL can, don't be so, well, wasting your time in the past tyring to live it out. Instead, realize you're -living- in the golden years... like I said, some food for thought, I guess. lol.
