So,

today's images aren't particularly great images,  they're just, "here's what I did on my vacation images."  The possible exception is the last image,  which two my friends have already told me they like a great deal.  :)

So, continuing on,  I went to the Volcanoes National Park.

Hi all, Recently I did some macro work. The best part about shooting macro photography is that your photos all tend to come out looking great.  The worst part of shooting macro photography is the same thing,  it take a lot of effort to move beyond the great into the truly extraordinary. One of the things that the campus of the University of Washington (UW) is known for is it's cherry trees in a section of campus known as "the quad."  These trees are very popular as a photographic subject each spring when they blossom,  and this year was no exception.  Last weekend was unusually warm weather for Seattle,  and on Saturday afternoon ( Read more... )
