Piper really loved Thanksgiving. It gave her an excuse to help Grams in the kitchen. It also gave her another reason to bake. Of course, there would be brownies. And various pies.

Piper woke up in a cheerful mood. It was good to be home.

She couldn't wait for Veronica and Grams to get to know each other. They didn't really get a chance to the night before after the long flight.

Now it was morning and there was plenty of time. She and Veronica headed into the kitchen where Grams was waiting for them.
