Phoebe was happy to be home for Thanksgiving, and she was happy that she and Piper were on speaking terms again. The fact that Lindsey had made it there to be with Piper was a good thing in her book.

However, she was still incredibly worried about what was going on with Cole and so was a little distracted.

"You okay, Pheebs?" Piper asked, noticing that her sister seemed distracted. She was pretty sure she knew what was bothering her.

Phoebe looked at her sister and gave her a smile. "Yeah. Just have my mind on a project back at school."

Piper had an idea of what this "project" was. "Anything I can do to help?"

"I'm not sure yet, but maybe if you help me in a brain storming session later, we might come up with something?"

"I can definitely do that," Piper said, nodding. She smiled at her sister. "I'm glad you were able to come home for the holiday."

Phoebe nodded. "Me, too. I needed the break... and to see my family."

"I'm not sure," Phoebe admitted. "I guess it will depend on if I can come up with any ideas while I'm here or if I decide to get back to school and try to do some homework this weekend."

"Do you have any ideas at all yet?" Piper asked curiously.

Phoebe wracked her brain to figure out how to tell Piper what she needed without arrousing her Grams' suspicion.

"I'm not sure, but I was thinking about doing research into souls and what people believe about them. Maybe pick Grams' brain to see if there are legends or stories about the power of a soul." She took a drink. "Or if they can be held captive. I'm determined to present a really good presentation for class."

Or save Cole.

Piper nodded. "Grams might know something. Also, we can go up to the attic and do some research if you want. There might be books about souls up there."
