Halliwell Manor, Thanksgiving

Piper really loved Thanksgiving. It gave her an excuse to help Grams in the kitchen. It also gave her another reason to bake. Of course, there would be brownies. And various pies.

Lindsey had seen some scary things during his time at Fandom High and after. Nothing had filled him with quite so much dread as meeting Piper's grandmother. Especially on a holiday. But here he was, on the doorstep, and it was too late to go back now. Might as well ring the doorbell, instead of standing out here all day, so that's what he did.

"Hi Lindsey," Piper greeted when she opened the door. She figured it might be less traumatic if she answered the door.

"Hey Piper," Lindsey replied, relieved to have a familiar face opening the door. He tried to look behind Piper to see if a kiss hello was safe, but decided he'd be safer settling for a hug. "Happy Thanksgiving."

Lindsey's deer in the headlights look lasted only a few seconds before he put on what he had always considered his most charming smile and managed to reply. "That's very true ma'am. But I was hoping torment came after the turkey."
