Piper sat in her room for the last time. She had the Book of Shadows beside her, ready to hand it over to Phoebe.

Last night, she couldn't believe she was leaving. Today, she knew it was something she couldn't avoid. She'd be back in San Francisco tonight.

She was very determined not to cry, though. That was likely impossible.

Cally sniffed a bit, and rubbed under her nose. "Well, I'm sure you've got a lot of packing to do, so. . . I guess this is goodbye."

Piper hugged Cally again, not wanting to let go. "I really am gonna miss you."
