crock pot slow cooker recipes

Last week I got my 5 quart oval crock pot or slow cooker what ever you want to call it.  The first thing I made was Salisbury steak using pounded steaks.  I seasoned with garlic powder and browned the steak.
Mix 3 tablespoons water with a beef oxo or bullion cube and mix 2 tsp cornstarch in.
Stir the mixture into
1/3 cup onion
3 medium sized white mushrooms chopped
14.5 ounces stewed tomatoes
2 tbsp soy sauce
3/4 tsp sugar
3/4 tsp salt
pepper to taste.

Line bottom of the cooker with chopped potatoes and vegetables of your choice.

Pour tomato mixture over the beef and vegetables slow cook on low 8 hours on low.

The second thing I made was a whole chicken.

oil and season chicken with your choice of seasonings and brown under the broiler (browning is optional)
Line bottom of cooker with potatoes, carrots and sliced onions (can use any vegetables you like)
Dissolve a chicken bullion cube in two cups of hot water or use chicken broth mixed 50/50 with water.  Pour over the vegetables and season with salt, pepper and any other desirable seasonings you like.  Make sure the potatoes are covered.
Place the chicken on top and slow cook for 8 hours on low.  My chicken was about 3 pounds and the meat came off the bone, it was so tender.
Thicken the juices for gravy.
Next time I want to try thickening the liquid so I have gravy made right in the slow cooker.

The third thing was lasagna.  I did not use a recipe because I've made lasagna many times.  I made it just like if I was going to bake it in the oven but put in the slow cooker for 6 hours, it was too long and the noodles were over done but it was still good.  4 hours on low.

A pound or so ground beef browned and seasoned with season salt and pepper.  Once browned I poured a large can of crushed tomatoes in and mixed.
In a bowl I mixed a small container of cottage cheese with an egg, salt and pepper.
Place a layer of meat mixture then a layer of noodles then a thin layer cottage cheese.
Next sprinkle a layer of minced onions and mushrooms.
Then a layer of mozzarella shredded cheese.
Repeat for another layer, I went three layers ending with shredded cheese.
I did add oregano and parsley in the layers.
4 hours on low.

Tomorrow night it's scalloped potatoes, no recipe, I make it often enough but this time because it's the whole meal I added peas and shredded ham.

In a two cup measuring cup, two heaping tablespoons flour and two tablespoons of a powdered white sauce mix like Alfredo sauce mix or a 1/4 cup soft cream cheese.
Enough water to make it easy to stir into a smooth paste then top with milk and make sure it's mixed with no lumps.

Line bottom of cooker with peas then layer the desired amount of thinly sliced potatoes (I put two layers in)
Chopped onions on top then pour the milk mixture over making sure potatoes are completely covered.
A layer of shredded ham and topped with shredded cheddar.
Slow cook for 6 hours.  This is the first time I made this in the slow cooker and I hope it turns out, It did in the oven but I didn't put peas and ham in it.
