This is the sweetcorn that we had on the BBQ at
St Andrews(see previous post). I just love sweetcorn, especially when its grilled on the BBQ. If you get the corn that still has its husk then you can put it straight onto the bbq with the husk on. The husk will protect the tender sweetcorn from the harsh heat.
I got my sweetcorn at the supermarket so it was already de-husked(de-husked? is that a word?). That’s when aluminum foil comes in so handy. Place the sweetcorn on a wee peice of foil. Put a pat of butter, sprinkling of salt, chilli flakes and parsley(opt). Bring the ends of the foil together and make a wee parcel. Its now ready for the bbq
