Coating truffles

I've ordered a set of chess candy molds, which I was planning to brush melted chocolate over and then fill with different truffle fillings.

The only problem is, I've tried this today and it's far too rich. The filling is fine, it's just the melted chocolate on the outside that makes it, quite frankly, nauseous. Does anyone have slightly less sweet suggestions that are easy to get hold of?
