Danielle:He hasn't even touched the pie I made..
Danielle:Avery?
Avery:Basement.
Avery:I'm in the basement,but wait-!
Avery:Don't come down!I'm doing-oh shit.
Danielle:There we go,have you been down here all day?You know I made you a-
Danielle:Blue-berry..pie-
Danielle:Avery?!
Avery:Okay,wait,stop!I know what you're thinking!
Danielle:You-your face?!
Danielle:you turn around right this fucking second!
Avery:Okay,Danni wait I-
Danielle:What the hell have you been doing down here?!
Avery:Danni-
Danielle:Have you seriously been practicing dark magic?!
Avery:*sigh* Okay.I know this looks bad but please let me explain!
Avery:The University gave me an artifact and told me to do some research,I was just doing some experiments,Danni please-!
Danielle:God fucking dammit..
Avery:Danni please!
Avery:Danni,just look at me please!Do I really look like a monster to you?Do I really look like I would do anything to hurt anyone?
Avery:Danni..
Danielle:The artifact..it's
Avery:Yes,it's dark magic,I know but please-!
Avery:Danni,please,just listen.The university gave me this artifact so that I can do research,please just-
Avery:*sigh* This artifact contains dark magic,I know that.I can see that..
Avery:But,this thing,this crystal,it may save us..it may,undo all the damage and sickness that we witches and warlocks have caused over these past centuries..
Avery:So,please,just let me explain..
Avery:Well,the university recently just discovered that this crystal,despite containing a huge amount of dark magic,could be the cure that modern medicine may need.All those plagues and illnesses that magic has caused,all the incurable diseases and sickness that we've inflicted on the world,this,this crystal here may be the key to unlocking a cure.
Avery:Although this crystal does seem to omit an endless stream of dark magic,contained deep inside is a strong magic that may be powerful enough to treat the incurable.
Avery:Look,I know it's a long shot,there's a chance that I could be doing the best thing for modern medicine,
Avery:Or,there's a chance I could just be unleashing another incurable plague of darkness into this world.
Avery:This isn't the perfect plan,but it's what we've got so far and..
Avery:I don't know..maybe,just maybe this could end this endless war of good and evil..
Avery:Maybe..
Danielle:I know..I know..I'm sorry sweetheart,I am.I know you're hearts' in the right place,but,look at you.You're already showing signs or corruption and I can't stand to look at you like this anymore..I'm just,afraid.
Avery:I know,but what if I don't do this?What if I just let this opportunity slip past when I could've made a difference?What if I gave up and just gave darkness a free pass to this world..I can't do that..there's too much darkness growing around us,and there's more to come.I can feel it.
Danielle:*sigh*I know,but just,stop for now alright?You can't fight darkness alone,it's not a one man show sweetie.
Avery:I know..
Danielle:At least let me heal you up..I'm not about to lose you because of some crazy experiment gone wrong...
Danielle:Ready?
Avery:Just do it..and quickly.
Avery:The longer I let this dark magic inside me stay,the longer it'll corrupt and eat everyone I love..
Danielle:I'm not gonna lie,this'll hurt..
And that's the price you pay

Woo,alright!We got the first chapter out of the way and I'm feeling good!I hope you guys can manage to follow what's going on,tell me of you can't.But,basically the gist is that when a witch/warlock performs dark magic,it becomes pretty visible,and the more you practice it,there more well,obvious it shows on your outer appearance.Unless you're a witch/warlock with enough magic to spare to keep up your appearances.What Danielle was trying to do at the end was to stop the dark magic from spreading,slowly as you practice it less often the corruption fades,but it will return once you practice it again.
Also,I hope you guys got all the parallels and the foreshadowing with Rainelle and such but yeah.
