I was doing pretty well for the first week, and was above my target before we went on holiday. But then it all stopped and I didn't write anything after the 9th.

I spent a lot of time thinking about writing in July, and trying (and failing) to plot out a couple of novel ideas, but I didn't get a lot of words down onto the screen.

At the start of September I was therefore 15,940 words behind my target. But September is proving to be a better month and I'm trying to get back into the rhythm of writing regularly. I'm not sure whether I'll catch up to my target before the end of the year but I'll try my best :)
